Delete your account in LocalNearU

1. Sign in to LocalNearU using the Facebook account linked to your LocalNearU account.
2. Open your Local profile and select Settings.
3. Go to the Delete account section.
4. Type DELETE in the confirmation field.
5. Select Delete account permanently.

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Information deleted

Deleting your account removes your LocalNearU account record and associated information, including:

• your Local profile and registration information;
• profile and verification images stored for your account;
• selected activities, languages, and availability;
• your Facebook identifier and Facebook profile information stored by LocalNearU; and
• other account data linked to your LocalNearU profile.

Removing LocalNearU from Facebook's Apps and Websites settings does not by itself delete information held by LocalNearU. Use the steps above or contact us to request deletion.

If you cannot sign in

Email localnearu@gmail.com with the subject “LocalNearU account deletion request”. Include enough information for us to identify your account, but do not email your Facebook password or a copy of your identity document.

We may ask you to verify that you own the account before completing the request.

Limited retention

We may retain limited audit, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, or legal records where reasonably necessary or required by law. Residual copies may also remain temporarily in protected backups, service-provider systems, or search-engine caches until their normal deletion or refresh cycles complete. We do not use retained information to restore or republish a deleted profile.
